How to remove the background from an image

  1. 1

    Add your images

Open bgremove.dealwithmuhammad.com and drop one or more images on the page, click Choose images, or paste with Ctrl+V (⌘V on a Mac). JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC all work.

  2. 2

Let the AI cut them out

The AI finds the main subject and removes the background on your device. The first time, it downloads its model once (about 115 MB); after that it loads from your browser's cache.

  3. 3

    Adjust and download

Drag the slider to compare, keep the background transparent or change it to a colour, a blur or your own image, fix any edge with the touch-up brush, then download a PNG, WebP or JPG at full resolution.

What DWM BG Remover does

  • Private by design

The AI runs on your own device with WebGPU or WebAssembly. Your images are never uploaded to a server.

  • Full resolution, no watermark

Results keep your photo's full size (up to 4096 px on the long side) and come with no watermark and no sign-up.

  • Change the background

Keep it transparent, or put your subject on a solid colour, a blurred copy of the original or your own image, with an optional drop shadow.

  • Touch-up brush

Erase leftover background or restore parts the AI missed, with brush size, zoom, undo and redo. Works with a mouse, pen or finger.

  • Batch processing

Add many images at once. They're processed one after another, and you can download them all as a ZIP.

  • People, products, logos and signatures

Cut out portraits, pets, products and cars, or make a logo or scanned signature transparent with the mask threshold.
